VICTORIA hINCAPIE GOMEZ

Victoria Hincapie is an international student originally from Colombia, currently studying journalism at Humber College in Toronto.Hincapie has experience working as a newscaster, photo/video editor and she writes about crime, culture, climate change, and profiles of people within underrepresented communities.Her work was been published in CBC Arts , Skedline News, and Humber Etcetera.

Hincapie is also passionate about candid photography, and has her own blog in which she explores what it is like to be a transgender foreigner. The blog is entitled “The gaze of a trans woman living in Toronto: Written work, personal stories, and life dilemmas."
